Fastara
Your information, your control

Privacy policy

Effective September 27, 2026. This policy covers Fastara's redesigned native app (build 27 onward) and this website, operated by Felix Culpa Publishing, LLC. The redesigned app is in pre-release testing.

Your journal stays on your device

Check-ins, notes, period-start dates, safety settings and timer history are stored locally using iOS-protected files. We do not operate an account or server that receives this journal. We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs in the redesigned app, sell health information, or use your entries for advertising.

The journal is excluded from device backup. Use a device passcode and keep iOS updated. Deleting the app, losing the device or a storage failure may permanently remove your data. You can review and export a copy you control.

Purchases and platform services

Apple processes purchases, account information, payment and subscription status under its policies. Fastara uses StoreKit to verify access; it does not receive payment-card details. Apple may process platform diagnostics and App Store information under your device and account settings. The redesigned app does not include RevenueCat.

Exports, sharing and links

Exports can contain sensitive health-related information. The app presents the content for review and excludes private notes by default. You choose the recipient or destination using the iOS share sheet. Copies sent to another app or person are outside our control and are not removed when you delete your local journal.

The general reminder-sharing feature does not include journal entries. External evidence, Apple and support links open third-party services with their own privacy practices.

Notifications

Optional timer reminders are scheduled on-device after permission. Their text is general, but notifications may be visible on your lock screen depending on iOS settings. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.

Earlier Fastara test builds

If you used an earlier test build, the redesigned app attempts a local import of older check-ins and timer history. It does not upload them. Older records are retained locally during migration to avoid data loss. Delete All Data removes local records and legacy preferences. Earlier builds used a different purchase integration and may have had different behavior; contact support with the build number if you need help.

Website and support

This is a static website with no signup form, advertising pixels or analytics script. Its hosting and domain providers process ordinary request information such as IP address and browser details for delivery and security. We do not ask you to submit health records to this website.

If you contact support by email, the publisher and its email provider process your email address and message to respond and maintain necessary support records. Do not send medical records, passwords, payment-card information or sensitive screenshots. You can request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete journal entries, export your data, disable notifications, use journal-only mode, or delete all local app data. We cannot retrieve or erase a journal we do not receive. For privacy requests concerning support correspondence or website processing, contact michaelgayed@leadlagmedia.com. Applicable privacy rights depend on where you live; we will assess requests under applicable law.

Age and policy changes

Fastara is intended for adults 18 and older, not children. We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. A material change involving health-data collection will not be silently treated as consent.
