Terms and safety
Effective September 27, 2026. Fastara is offered by Felix Culpa Publishing, LLC. These terms describe the redesigned app, currently in pre-release testing. For App Store downloads, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
A journal, not medical care
Fastara provides general wellness information and tools to record choices. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease; prescribe an eating plan; measure hormones; identify fertile days; or provide contraception. Cycle context is based on dates you enter, not a medical measurement. Descriptive patterns cannot establish what caused a symptom or health change.
Consult a qualified clinician before considering fasting. Do not use the timer if you are under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, have a current or past eating disorder, or have type 1 diabetes. Other conditions and medicines may also make fasting inappropriate. Use journal-only mode instead of assuming a short timer is safe.
Stop when you need to
Do not continue fasting to satisfy the app if you feel unwell. Eat and drink, obtain medical advice when appropriate, and seek urgent assistance for severe symptoms. The app cannot monitor you or provide emergency assistance. Notifications and timers are convenience features and can be interrupted by device settings or technical failures.
Purchases
The core journal, safety information, optional timer, export and deletion remain free. Premium provides descriptive pattern views. Any available subscription price, billing period and renewal terms are shown before purchase through Apple. A subscription automatically renews until canceled in Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Refund requests are handled through Apple and applicable law.
No purchase is offered on this website while the app is unavailable. No health outcome, weight change, fertility result or other benefit is guaranteed.
Your data and use
You control your entries and exports. Protect your device and review export recipients carefully. The journal is excluded from backup; deleting the app may permanently remove it. Do not use the app to harass others, collect someone else's sensitive information without permission, or misrepresent its observations as medical findings.
Availability and responsibilities
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or an error-free app. Nothing here removes rights or remedies that applicable consumer law does not permit us to exclude. External sites and Apple services have their own terms and availability.
